Our Washbourn Gardens Picnic

Thank you to all the wonderful parents who came to Washbourn Gardens for a picnic with our Y0-1 Syndicate today.

 We walked to the gardens from school. It was a hot  walk.

 We sat down with our friends when we got there.

 We all took a snack to eat.

 We listened  to the instructions.

 We went to the pond to feed the ducks. They ate lots of bread.

 We went into the green house. We saw the begonias and the ferns and the fushias.

We got back to school at morning tea time.

We were very tired but we had fun.

Milk In Schools

Today we started the Milk In Schools Programme again. Most of us enjoy our 

yummy milk and we will have it each Thursday after lunch

We are learning to share our news with our Buzz Group. 

We look at the speaker and we ask questions.

 Mrs Eden is teaching us the New Zealand Massage in Schools programme.

 We were the manuhiri and we were welcomed at the 

school Powhiri this morning.

What a Happy Day

 We remembered to wear our sunhats.

 We wrote our first story for the year.

 We played with our friends.

 We did puzzles.

 We worked on the computers.

 We drew pictures.

 We made dinosaurs.

 We drank often from our drink bottles because it was a hot day.

 We did "Grumpy Bear" for shared reading and we made these paper plate bears.

We read to ourselves.

 We had a great swim before we went home.
