Preparing For Junior Athletics Day

 Here we are practicing two of our events for Athletics Day.

 the class as she turns six this weekend.

Discovery Time 14 October

It was a very wet day in Richmond today. 

We had to have all our Discovery Time activities inside.

We made boats with corks, toothpicks and paper . 

We floated them in the water trough.

We had heaps of fun and laughter with bubble mixture. 

We also did painting, marble race and collage monsters.

Instruments from Around The World

Today Nicky and Lara from the Museum came to show us some unusual instruments from around the world. We really liked the shakers made from llama hooves. You wear them around your ankles. We were all able to hold one of the instruments. Nicky showed us how some of them sounded.
