Kayla reads to Allanah

Allanah our ICT facilitator came to Room 14 yesterday to try out a new app on her ipad. While she was here she recorded Kayla reading on Puppet Pals which is a fun app we can use on Mrs Eden's ipad. Have a listen. (Great reading Kayla).

This morning Rooms 14,16,17,and 18 went for a little picnic to Norm Large Park. We took our morning tea. We had so much fun playing in the sunshine. Thank you to all the parents who came with us.

Today we started exploring some of the Maths and Literacy activities and games Mrs Eden has put on the side bar of our blog. They help us with our learning goals and they are also lots of fun to play at home. We tried this kangaroo game today. (Click on the picture to play)

The Powhiri

Today we had our school Powhiri to welcome the new staff and children. We were all in the manuhiri because we have not been at school long. Thank you to the parents who came too. We hope you enjoyed our Powhiri.
