Daffodil Day 2014

Friday the 29th was Daffodil day at Richmond Primary. This is fundraising for the cancer Society. we were able to buy windmills, badges and balloons and have our face painted. Look at all the the happy faces in our Photopeach slideshow. See how many of us wore yellow and green as well.

Learning About the "Th" sound.

Today we made some "th" faces. Then we took photos and made this video of instructions because we are doing instruction writing for our writing focus.

Welcome Back Amy

Today we welcomed Amy Mcllroy back to school. Amy is Mr and Mrs Brenton's (our Principal) daughter. Amy and her husband Shannon went to Scotland to represent New Zealand in the bowls team at the Commonwealth Games. The New Zealand Women's Fours won a bronze medal. Amy brought it to show us. Congratulations Amy. Our school is very proud of you.

Book Character Day

Today was our Book Character dress up day. It was so much fun. 

Thank you to all the parents for the effort you made to 

ensure  children had wonderful costumes.

The whole school paraded down the main street, through the 

Mall and then through the Tasman District Library. Everyone enjoyed watching us.
Thank you Mrs Lams for organising this great experience for us.
