Discovery Time Today

 Problem solving with the marble race.

 Creating at the craft table.

 Making daffodils for "Daffodil Day".

 Drawing our own road map to use with the cars.

 Playing outside.

Painting fish pictures.

Fun With Another Experiment.

We have been talking about substances being made up from molecules.

Today we did a science experiment with milk, detergent and food 

colouring to see how the molecules worked against each other.

Alma Turner Library Visit

Today we went to the Alma Turner Library to learn about Eric Carle art.

Esther showed us how to paint patterns on the tissue paper.

We looked at pictures of animals Eric Carle had used in his books.

We pasted our painted patterns on the pictures.

All the parents who came with us helped with the pasting.

Here are our finished pieces of art when we got back to school.

It was a great morning. We really enjoyed it.

Thank you again to the parents who came to provide transport.

Eric Carle Butterflies

Discovery Time 20 August

 Yum! We decorated biscuits.
