Lynley Dodd Library Quiz

Lynley Dodd Library Quiz Today our syndicate had a quiz at the library about the Lynley Dodd books we have been reading.We were divided into groups of 4 or 5 and the teachers were very proud of the way we worked together. Thank you so much Ms Simpson for organising this for us and for all the great sessions we have had during our library lessons this term

Keeping Ourselves Safe

We had our third lesson with Constable McKitrick today for our Keeping Ourselves Safe unit.

We had some cards that tell stories of people with problems. We had to work in groups and negotiate what order to arrange the cards to tell the story. We identified the problem and the solution.

Today the Sports Council organised a soccer tournament for the 

Junior School at lunch time.

 The Seahorse group read a story called Dance Animoe which is in Junior Journal 24.

 They made these illustrations about the story using the ipads.

This morning our Whales reading group read the book Timo's Shorts. Riley and Tyler drew these pictures about the story on the ipad. Look at the flames on Timo's shorts. Well done Riley. They do look HOT!
