Holiday Weekend

Our Very Special Treat

Today we had a secial treat. Steve and Raewyn who are our school cleaners brought us in some lollypops. They are so pleased with us because at the end of the day we clean up the floor and leave our room tidy. They said we are the "best room". We are very helpful to Steve so he doesn't have paper, crayons and big bits of dirt going up the vacume cleaner.  Thank you Steve and Raewyn. We think you are very cool too!

Some Estuary Stories

I have been to the Waimea Estuary with Nana.

The Estuary
Yesterday Rooms 11, 12, 13 and 14 went to the Waimea Estuary. First Rooms 12 and 14 went and did an adventure. The first thing we found was man- made. Then I found a baby crab. I was holding it. Then I put it back in the box. Nina slipped over. It was funny. She was even laughing.
Nina
Yesterday Room 14 went to the Waimea Estuary. We found a few man-made things. I found a big crab that pinched me and another one pinched me. We had lunch. We found some seaweed, a little feather abnd lots of crabs. I went in Jack's car with Alyssa. I got stuck. I fell over in the muddiest place.
Amadeo
We went to the Waimea Estuary and we saw a crab. One crab chased me away. That was fun. It was BOOMY, YIKES, PHEW!  I was safe. I looked back There was still crabs waiting for me. I didn't go back. I looked in the magnifying glass. I saw a stone in the magnifying glass and there was mud everywhere and fish bones. Then we went home.

Yesterday we all went to the Estuary. It was fabulous and it was fun. We all had fun,fun,fun. we liked the Estuary.

At the start I ate sushi. At the Estuary Amadeo picked up a stone.There were two crabs. My Mama came too.

Yesterday I found some clams. I liked the squishy mud. The car I went in was Mrs Eden's. She is nice and kind. I got a blister from my boots. It was stinging a lot.

Yesterday Room 14 got in the cars and went to the Estuary. When we got there we had lunch and watched the aeroplanes. Then we went and found crabs and stuff like that. We had lots of fun and after that we went for a huge walk. We saw little baby trees. We put our hands up and said why we thought the red plastic things were around the trees. After that a man came to the sign and told us about it.

We went to the Estuary. I saw a crab. It was fun. I liked it.I liked the mud.

We went tot the Waimea Estuary. I had fun and Jessica let me keep a whale bone. Everyone had fun at the Waimea Estuary. I liked it.

We went to the Estuary. We went for a walk. We went for a hunt. It was fun. We saw crabs. I found a big feather.
Michael
Estuary Trip. The crab was making me tired. The crabs were pinching themselves under the rocks.

The other day we went to the Estuary. I found a whale's bone. We were doing  a hunt. We went in the cars and then into the paddock. Then we went back to the cars with our bags. We went to pick up my brother called Bevan. My Mum biked home and my brother and I went home in  the car. we had food and we went to bed.

At the Estuary I found a crab. It pinched me. I put it in the box. I found another crab and then I put it down.

Yesterday we went to the Waimea Estuary. My group was Nina and Alyssa. My Nana and Grandad came. Nina slipped over. Nina found a massive crab.

Yesterday we went to the Estuary. It was fun at the Estuary. I got lots of live crabs and I got lots of skeletons. I had lots of fun at the Estuary. I found lots of green ones.

Yesterday I went in Riley's car. We all went to the Waimea Estuary and I held a crab.

The Waimea Estuary.  On Tuesday we went to the Estuary. It was fun because I found a crab. I found a crab hole. I found man-made plastic and glass.

The other day we went to the Estuary. We found some crabs. There was heaps of crabs. there was heaps of people.

The Waimea Estuary. We went to the Estuary. I found 10 crabs. The best thing was the sea. It was shallow.

I went to the Waimea Estuary and had lunch there. We had a walk and found a bone. It was really high. It was really big.

We went to the Waimea Estury. It was fun. I found a crab. I also found some seaweed. The best thing was crabs.

Yesterday I went to the Estuary. I saw a sand dollar and a big crab. I saw some fish.
