We have been making mixed media art. We used paper, paint, tissue paper, tin foil, fabric and plastic.

Making A Raft

The Sharks reading group read a poem in Junior Journal 34 about a Raft. They made these rafts ice block sticks. Well done!

The Whales reading group read about a bubble blowing activity in Junior Journal 20. They then went outside and made this video about bubble blowing. What fun!

A Visit From The Makos

Today we had a visit from some of the Makos who won the 2013 ITM Cup. They beat Hawkes Bay 26-25 in the final. The answered lots of questions and signed some autographs. Well done guys . We are proud of you.

Static Electricity

Our Science Investigation this week is about static electricity. We all had a balloon to explore with. Here you can see Zoe using the static electricity to pick up some tissue paper.

Our Finished Science Project.

We have now finished our Science project about Germination. 

We wanted to find out if seeds germinated faster in light or dark.
