Trying New Challenges

It was Discovery Time again today. Mrs Eden brought some wire and some pliers to school. We learned to cut the wire and bend it into interesting shapes. It was difficult but we really enjoyed it as we learned a new skill. We had our hut outside today and we had to discover how we could anchor it down in the wind. Mrs Eden also brought some rocks to school. Look at the paper weights we painted. Tyler tried finger knitting for the first time today. He discovered that he really enjoyed it. Look how long his knitting got.It was really fun playing the hopscotch game outside as well. School is fun! Trying Some New Challenges.

First Day Back

In the holidays I went to the market in Nelson.My Mum bought the white crystal. It can fly in my hand.My Mum put Angry Birds and Star Wars Two on her phone. We went to Westport to see Mum's house.We watched Cats and Dogs on the DVD player.  By Amadeo.

On the last day of term I went to Hokitika. I stopped at Murchison and Reefton. Then I went through Greymouth and I drove to my Nana's.

In the weekend I biked to the Estuary and then I biked to my Uncle's house.We biked to my house and then to the playground. I was tired. By Jessica.

In the holidays I went to my Dad's house and we went to the shop.Sarah came for a sleep-over. We had chocolate and lollies.

I the holidays Mum, Bruce and I went to Queenstown. I went on the chair-lift and we saw some kiwis. Bruce and I went on  the Earnslaw over the Lake and I saw the engine.  By Riley.

 In the holidays my Grandparents came back from Paris and I saw Tyler A. The next day Holly came for a sleep-over. we had lots of fun. Yesterday I saw Zoe and Alyssa at the Aquatic Centre. we all went in the spa. By Kaitlyn.

I was lucky to get a Tasman Mako's shirt. We went to Okiwi Bay and I went fishing with the Harvey's. We caught blue cod and scallops. We stayed in the Harvey's bach. I slept inside my sleeping bag. By Callum.

The day before yesterday Mum and I were about to make a cupcake but Mum got a headache. So she forgot about the cupcake and she had to make it when we were sleeping. I was excited about the cupcake. When I looked at it in the morning I couldn't wait to eat it. But then Mum heard a text. It was the birthday boy's Dad saying the mother was sick and the birthday was cancelled. Then Mum had to go out.

Out Grandparents came. When they were there Kayne and I ate a cupcake. I am going to have a cupcake in my lunch tomorrow,  By Asha.
